City industrialists mark R-Day with ‘save water’ themeThe Ludhiana business associations celebrated the 74th Republic Day on Thursday with full fervor at the MSME Development Institute. Surjit Singh Chaggar was the chief guest on the occasion, and Pankaj Sharma was the guest of honor. The national flag was unfurled by Ajay Nayar, and more than hundred industrialists and several government officials were present in the function. Singh Kular, president of the Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organizations (FICO), said "this celebration was different than earlier years in more sense that this time we had kept a special theme."
