Boy suffers rare measles complication
A 10-year-old girl, a resident of Kalewadi Phata, has now been diagnosed with a rare and dangerous complication of measles, years after she recovered from the infection. The girl had contracted measles when she was just six months old. She was given the first dose of the anti-measles vaccine at nine months, but was never administered the second dose, which follows when a child is at 15 months.
