Bengal may have 46 districts, panel formed for their creation
The Bengal government is planning to increase the number of districts for better governance and make 'Duare Sarkar' function more efficiently by making it easier for the administration to reach out to people and ensure that they don't have to travel long distances to avail government facilities.
