As Kolkata goes dry, drunk-driving cases dip
The ban on sale of liquor in large parts of the city from Saturday — due to the Ballygunge bypolls scheduled on Tuesday — has led to a drop in drunk-driving cases across Kolkata. Cops said that while Friday witnessed 74 cases of drunk driving, the figure rose to 80 on Saturday.
