6,000 spot fines over two days 
Since Friday, over 6,000 fines were issued for illegal parking at 2,200 spots across Kolkata. The list will be sent to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The police have extended 100 Dial services, started video-recording actions, and addressed parking extortion. Joint drives with KMC are planned to tackle unauthorized parking.
