362 new Covid cases in West Bengal, +vity at 3.5%
Number of new cases in Bengal reached 362 on Sunday. One person died and the positivity rate touched 3.5%. Eight districts reported positivity rate of 1% and above in the 4th round of sentinel surveillance. The daily Covid positive case load in the state surged above 300 on Sunday with 362 fresh cases. The state also reported a death on Sunday. The positivity rate also shot past 3% and touched 3.5%. The number of districts in Bengal with a positivity rate of 1% and above jumped to eight in the fourth round of Covid-19 sentinel surveillance, from just one during the third survey.
