2 held with 11 stolen phones
Division number 3 police busted a gang of snatchers with the arrest of two persons on Thursday. The police also seized 11 stolen mobile phones and a bike from the duo, identified as Yuvraj Sahota of Valmiki Mohalla, 28, and Sonu, 27, of Tajpur road. The accused were arrested from Shingar Cinema road following a tip-off. Sub-inspector Gagandeep Singh, SHO, division number 3 police station, said the accused were active in division number 3 area and Transport Nagar. In August, the accused had come out on bail. They had been facing trial in different cases.
