13 women contested, only Siwach electedOf the 13 standing, BJP’s Manju Siwach was only woman to win in the Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad districts. Siwach triumphed over her nearest rival, Sudesh Sharma of RLD, from Modi Nagar. The third in line was Poonam Garg of the BSP.
