12 hurt in head-on collision of 2 buses on Howrah Bridge
Twelve people were injured, four of them seriously, as two private buses collided head on in the middle of Howrah Bridge in peak office hours on Thursday morning. Police said the fallout could have been worse had the two drivers not managed to swerve at the last moment. The two drivers’ cabins bore the maximum impact, with one of the drivers getting trapped inside and suffering severe injuries.
